Hello, I got a problem with my one victory which is shown in the photo below. I have not been spiked/or spiked myself. I have hardly raced in them, totalling 2 x 800m, 2 x 2000m S/c and a couple of training sessions which consist of mainly 10 x 200m.

Has anyone had this problem and is it fixable? Even if it does eventually split I expect they will still be usable since the flywire around is will provide most of the support.
I am disappointed since I have not had the spikes for a very long time and I went through quite a bit of hassle to get hold of them.

I have never had it happen to me, but another kid on my team had the same issue as you do. He ended up ripping out that section because it was tearing into his foot. After that he had no problems with the shoe, and the shoe held up just fine. The only way I could think to fix it would be to use some super glue and try to mend it together. But I have never tried it and have no idea if it would work.

yeah i've got a firend on my team who had the same problem with that part of the shoe, but the tear is an inch long and you can easily put you finger through it, still his have held up just fine.
just trying to think of solutions, there is none that would get the shoe back to when they were new but you could take them to a show menders and see if they can get them stitched up, better to do it there than do a botch job yourself...

I may just leave it seeing as it holds up fine. Its on a non-flywire stress point so that is why I think its tearing. If I glue it or stitch it I can't see it lasting very long

yeah, fair enough, my friend's had his hole in his for almost a year now, and he uses them for training quite a bit, so you'll be fine :)
