For comparison, Otis Ubriaco was 4:30 / 9:44 as an 8th grader.

On several occasions, I've seen James Burke race. He has great form and his fantastic performances appear to be effortless. If this kid can remain healthy, I'll tell you right here and now that John Gregorek's course record of 15:32.4, on the 3.1 mile course at Sunken Meadow State Park, will be obliterated before this kid graduates high school. I've been following LI X-C and track for the better part of 40 years and I've never seen anybody this good so soon. :)
