8035 High School Record. Wow.
•100: 10.89
•LJ: 24-5.5
•SP: 49-11
•HJ: 7-0.5
•400: 49.66
•110H: 14.16
•DT: 142-1
•PV: 14-11
•JT: 175-5
•1500: 5:01.74
He has a 4:34 1500 best as well but winds were apparently crazy and an effort of that magnitude was unnecessary to get the record. High altitude site as well.

Beast!
Everyone talks about the best one day or one day meet doubles and triples. But when a high school kid completes a decathlon at this high of level I honestly think it trumps them all.
Seriously? 7' high jump, 24'5 long jump in one day is puts him near the top in those two events nationally, then 14.16 110 where he has gone 13.89 this year. All with some really impressive marks in the other events that would put him near the top of most states individually.

Generally when people talk about one day doubles and triples, they're talking about distance races...
That LJ and HJ in particular are extremely impressive.

He could beat some of the nations best high school track teams in a dual meet, even with the 3200, 4x1 and 4x4 being throw aways!!!
If we were to say he is capable of a 2:06 800m, then he would qualify 12th for Nike Track Nationals in the team competition (choosing the 1500 as his dropped event). Thats how insane that decathlon is!

I know at one of his HS meets during his junior year he ran the 800 with a 2:03 the only time he has ran the open 800 that I know of. I know if you take all of his PR's in the hs deca it's over 8400 pts., he is quite an athlete, I will be watching him compete in Oregon in 11 days, I know he will be going for the Junior Nat. record in the deca of 7599, if he gets it he will have own all the HS Nat. deca records.:D
