I know this is cutting it close but just wanted to spread the word for a camp I'm helping at in a couple weeks.

https://www.altitudecamp.com/

The camp is based in Cedar City, UT on the campus of Southern Utah University (5,700') and all the runs are up the mountain including runs around Navajo Lake (9,000'+) and up to Brian Head Peak (11,307'). It's an inexpensive camp but I've only heard good reviews from campers. The majority of the runners are from out of state and enjoy the unique scenery of Southern Utah.

Cost is anywhere from $210-350 for 5 days, depending on meals and lodging options.

Zion NP and Bryce Canyon NP are both within an 1.5 hr drive of Cedar City if you feel like making a bigger trip out of it.

Run around places like these:

Doesn't it take about a week to acclimate to altitude in the first place?

Yeah, ideally it would need to be longer but even though it's a short-term stimulus, in the end it's really just about the experience of being up in the mountains. It's a beautiful place to run.

Edit: Not to mention the fact that high temperatures this week are supposed to be in the mid-60's

If $210-350 included the traveling expenses, I'd definitely go.

Haha, I guess it could if you lived close enough. Rhode Island, not so much.
