Also, analyzing my predictions a bit here, a few notes:
- Baring a complete bomb from any of the teams, its pretty obvious who is gonna finish 1 thru 8/9 in the team race. There seems to be a big drop off after that.
- The Marquette Sectional needs some adjusting as its VERY weak this year and probably for a few years to come. I understand King had been good in recent years, but it looks like their reign is over. I also had a hard time picking what individuals would all come out of this sectional. After 2 or 3 guys that should be shoe-ins there are probably 20 other runners that could get the last couple spots, guys that don't even regularly break 17:15.
- I personally think it should go back to the 8 Sectional format as like in most recent years there are a few teams that really don't have any business being at State

Good predictions psychedfortrack - I think I'd make two small changes - I think Grantsburg will be ahead of Chequamegon and Augusta will almost certainly be ahead of Blair Taylor, their 3-5 runners are young and pretty weak not to mention that Reismann seems to be struggling right now.

I completely agree with that Grantsburg will be ahead of Chequamegon, idk why I put them behind them, but I put Blair Taylor ahead of Augusta because I was looking towards state more, Reismann put it together there last year, I think he will again giving Blair Taylor a very low scorer while Augusta won't have someone scoring that low.

I'm not familiar enough with all the teams in the Tomah Sectional to know where the concentration of runners will be. You are right that even when he is not performing at his best, Reismann is much better than any of Augusta's runners. But their 1-4 will probably leave Blair Taylors 3-5 and possibly even their 2 in the dust. I think it's gonna come down to the gaps. Reismann might beat Augusta's top runner by 30 or 45 seconds or even more and only gain 4 or 5 points while Augusta's 4th could easily gain 10 points on Blair Taylor's 4th with only a 20 or 30 second lead.
There will be an interesting display of this at the Fall Creek Sectional. Lau should win that by at least a minute (there isn't a single other runner there who has ever broken 17) and yet he'll likely only gain 1-4 points for Immanuel over teams like Regis and McDonell whose top runners are vastly inferior to Lau. Cross Country is such a complex sport. Gotta love it!

also - you probably haven't seen these results because they never get published very well but August beat Blair Taylor pretty soundly at the Melrose-Mindoro Invite.

No, I hadn't seen those results, at sectionals Augusta will more than likely beat Blair Taylor, at state however, it depends if Reismann shows up, I really believe if he does, Blair Taylor will win this head to head matchup.

Yeah at state, Reismann would certainly probably make the difference.
