It's pretty simple. Those of us in the Fantasy league create a draft list of the runners we want (usually about 100 runners deep). Since a live draft would be near impossible to coordinate, draft order is randomly determined. Using the draft order (and reversing the order on even rounds) each person gets a team.
During the season we utilize the fantastic resources provided by Bill Meylan at tullyrunners.com in order to obtain Speed Ratings for each runner (at their respective races). Then each person's "team" is scored against the others in duel meet fashion. You get points for each of the other "teams" you beat. I know Eva N has the format down to a science. Perhaps he can provide further information (or at least explain the process better). |
