I didn't realize they were that early (should probably read more). Christ. My response was more that I didn't want the meet to be moved later. I liked the FS->Relay->Relay->Coaches/Elite->off/Grand Prix/McIntyre schedule of a few years ago (last year too?). It would be really nice if all the relay meets could be the same weekend. BU is booked all those weekends and running a metric relay meet at Harvard is a headache and a half.

Frank Mooney is a great source for listening and communicating. He sent out another email today detailing meeting info, clinics, etc. He does a great job. I was told the new division is a year away.

No need to make a special trip to Needham. If you're at BU during the week - I'm in Brighton most days. I bet we can figure something out.

Can you forward me the email - I don't hink I got it. Would like to see it even though I was at both the meetings.

Regarding "C" - with CMass/WMass large and small schools combined. Is the talk of instead doing a Division I and II where CMass/WMass combine so that the same amount of entries are automatically coming from the area? I have never thought about it hard, but that seems to make sense.

It is making a combined D1 and D2 of C /WASS so that there would be morem teamsto create a competitive balance for all. D1 & 2 flip flop sirtes from year to year from C to W Mass. .

I hope I'm explaining it right.

That sounds like I was envisioning it. As a "small schooler", I love this idea.

Geez, too many changes coming too fast for us old guys. It's like walking into Home Depot and finding all the aisles have been switched around, so you can't find anything you want. Stop this insanity! I don't like change....

Any MSTCA worries about the potential amount of kids in the JV/Frosh races at WDC on 9/29? With combined divisions, could we see 500+ athletes in some of these races?

Didn't even think about that. That starting line certainly isn't big enough to accomodate that many kids. I hope they have a solution for race day.
