Advice...

Have a runner who has tendinitis and osgood slaughters in her knees.
Summer training time and she has the possibilities of going after a state championship as well, so a good runner. I told her not to do any running for at least all of July.

Training:
I've recommended to her the obvious swimming, biking (non-rugged areas), stationary bike, walks. 1) Are there any other training ideas that people have found successful?

Rehab:
This area I know less in, but I know you're not supposed to run, kneel or squat much. I assume icing the knee area is alright along with even ice massaging. Found out stretching the quad is supposed to be good idea. Stretching in general I believe is good. 2) Are there any other rehab ideas that you know work? 3) If anything I mentioned above is wrong, let me know

The best thing for Osgood-Schlatter disease is RICE.

It depends where the tendonitis is, but pool running and biking are good substitutes.
