Anyone come to a consensus...

Anyone come to a consensus about using victory/matumbo's for cross country? Is one better than another? I could see victories being aggressive enough for the terrain, but not enough padding for 5k and longer and anything but a flat track. But then again, matumbos arent very aggressive... all the threads i'ce looked up no one gave a definite answer

Matumbo. I'd say just because it's not as aggressive as the Vics.

I've used vics for 8k cross country and they worked fine. Your calves might be a little sore the next day or so, though.

Never wore vicotorys in xc, but the matumbos worked well. Only problem is that they get kinda trashed and if your using them for a full xc season your not going to want to use them for track cause they'll be dead. That being said, if you have sorta trashed matumbos from last track season id say go ahead and use them.

IMO, just get the vic xc's
