I'm not sure I'd even make a top-ten list for alumni of the Lads-n-Lassies Nursery School (Tacoma, WA -- and yes, I really went there).

And I'm not sure I could run 2:47 fro 22 right now, let alone the full ride. That is impressive.

I've had to work this weekend, which meant no running, so I am officially out of shape and flabby. ( . . . But am working on my new book: The Jelly Donut and You -- A Guide to Happiness).

BTW - went to Chicago for a Bat Mitzvah this weekend...but flew home with lots of marathoners. Had a nice time.

Wasn't sure if you guys were all aware that Beardsley had a knee (his 2nd) replaced about 2 (maybe 3) weeks ago. He's doing well...posting on FB.
