With Dan swamped with work,two growing teens, the new dwelling & outbuildings, the need to get them all winterized, the distances to cover when you become more rural-- store trips being now measured in tens of miles and chunks of a hour, not blocks and mere minutes, the bunny farm, the dogs, cats, grosbeaks,crossbills, linnets,buntings and other assorted finches(finchi?) that dwell in the Ark that is Pattiworld plus the same day to day things that confront us all beyond just cleaning washing cooking and sock darning( the last of a dying breed of sock darners??)-- her social life is taking a hit. Rest assured once she gets some breathing room back she will be on the boards again.

I have a solution: we give Aaron and Raven cigarettes. That will stunt their growth. Thus, no more growing teens, and ouila, free time in abundance.
There may be a few kinks or drawbacks to this plan, but I'm working on it. Also, as of the birthdays over here of the last two weeks, I also now have two teenagers (gasp) living here. I can't seem to get them to stop growing either. [ . . . . .P.S. before Patti and Dan strangle me, that IS a joke, y'know]

A friend told me yesterday marked three thousand three hundred thirty three days since 9/11. I have no idea if his math is correct but I will post it awaiting confirmation.

Well, let's see...365 days per year, so until 9/11/2010 was 9 years plus the leap year correction which must be added for 2004 and 2008 makes 3287 days. October 27 would have been 19 more days in September and 26 in October or 45 more total, so 3287 + 45 makes 3332. So, not exactly. And given your early morning post, what was "yesterday" - the 27th or the 26th? (If the 26th, they probably didn't account for leap years...and counting issues can get tricky at times.
BTW - Spidey, do you encourage your kids to smoke?...the appetite suppression will help keep food bills down. And WiT, one benefit to dating like that is that if you name your files by date, the 20101028 prefix puts them roughly in generation order. Wayne

Confession: I couldn't really root for them when Barroid played. Lincecum seems the anti-Bonds, a skinny 170 lb. kid -- no way there were PEDs involved -- winning games the old-fashioned way. Further confession: I had hair like that back in the day.
