.Rest assured being Mayor of LL is my focus but since I do not have a real life I have plenty of time to spend MofPGing (what ever that means).

I believe I was the one who originally declared WIT mayor of the LL. But a better title I cannot imagine.
Ran 19 this morning then went for a bike ride, as we had a rare day of clear skies and cool, sunny weather here in Rainsville. So that means one thing: it's donut time! Congrats on the run Patti -- come join us. |

Checking in from soggy Southern California. It's been raining for a few days and will rain for a few more. Can't do anything about the roof leak til it's done, but at least it's dripping into my bathtub!
Went to San Diego on Saturday night for kickoff event for American Miler's Association. Lots of fun. Met a couple of "young bucks" and swapped stories with some old friends, many of whom I haven't seen in years. Going back to the vet with the 15-year-old dog this morning. Doc thinks she has pancreatitis. Also need to change her diet due to kidney issues. 4th vet vist in a little over a month. I think we'll be funding a new wing for her office when we're through. Went 15 miles yesterday, but it was on a bike. Michael is home for a few weeks and I kept him company on his run. I'm running on a daily basis now, although only 3-4 miles, but looking to start bumping that up. Seeing the orthopedist on Wednesday morning. |

Hope to get some sort of update from the event and a better idea of all the names. It was open to the "public" and many local San Diego runners, coaches, etc. were there in addition to the milers. Ultimately this group wants to focus on the concerns of childhood obesity and try to get kids more active. The youngest of the sub-4's were Mac Fleet and AJ Acosta. Paul Greer was the host and Jonathan Riley is one of the founders of the group. Talked with Mark Belger quite a bit. It was great to see him after many, many years. The whole thing is in the early stages. Check out www.americanmilers.org

Hey Ruth, why don't you get the roof fixed? It only leaks when it rains, and it doesn't rain that often. story

Unfortunately, have to wait for the rain to stop before the roofer can come out.
