his gatorade xc award last year cited a gpa of 3.32, it might have gone up since than, but it sounds way too low for him to be accepted to Stanford. He still has more options than Thode

3.32 isn't that bad. I'm pretty sure Stanford would make an exception to have the best runner in the country.

I dont think so we have had people at my school with 36 act and over 4.0 gpa and still didnt get accepted.

Even at the smart schools, grades to get in can be less. I've seen kids with 3.5 and 25 act get into some smart schools for athletics. Schools that they would have chance at as a regular student.
