Track Draft Interest Thread

I brought this idea up in the PG with regards to a All-Time NBA draft, but it's not getting much traction. I figured a Track Draft may work better.

The goal of this exercise is to build a hypothetical Olympic track team. You will draft 25(?) athletes and make a team out of them. Anyone from the Olympic era is eligible, provided they have participated in a track event. For right now, it is males only. You get the athlete in his prime and under modern training techniques. The events in the hypothetical competition would be your standard Olympic events.

Who would be interested in such a draft? I'm looking to get 20-30 owners (you can pair up also).

Probably something where you send me a PM with your top 3 teams, not including yourself. Then I add give point values for each slot, and add them up.

I'm interested but I'm unsure how you will score or value runners from the earlier Olympics.
Let's say I put Jesse Owens on my team or getting more obscure say I pick Jan Mashiani and Len Tau(Taw) from the Tswana(Kaffir) Tribe and a good bet to be the first Africans to run the Marathon (or the professional clown Tom Hicks for that matter- winner '04 marathon in about 3:39.). How are you going to assign them a value that involves modern training techniques?
