The Rosa's don't train like professional athletes? Or they don't train like Triathletes? Because I'm pretty sure that is how LV has trained the good majority of his HS career. If people remember his comments after NBIN and the Shamrock Shuffle, he indicated he was in Tri-Training.
Don't think he has overdone it on running mileage yet.

I will actually be more impressed if he goes sub 4 next Saturday. Not because I think it is either more difficult or less difficult, but just because of the mystique of it. There is something special about that barrier.

I heard the track is short. Does his time really count?

Yeah, they'll be racing each other every PAC-10 for years. I presume Verzbicas is going to **** up at least once.

Every PAC-10s, Western Regional, Payton Jordan, etc. They are going to meet up plenty of times over the next 5 years (along with plenty of other talented runners), should be fun to watch!

Well, if he goes sub-4... he'd be 10+ seconds faster at 2 Miles than any other HS sub-4 guy. Hard to keep him out of the top spot on the list, at that point.

The way that NBC was filming the race it looked like Verzbicas had dropped out because he was no longer in the frame. That guy who was running with Verzbicas near the end did look suspiciously like a pacer.
