Teams
D1 -Arrowhead (State Champs)- Top 5 finishers from the state meet return (16:04, 16:11, 16:30, 16:41, 17:01), the way the track season is going Sandvold, Lewin, and Bierman could all finish in top 10. -Madison West (3rd at State)- They lose Hacker and Thompson, the rest of top 7 returns. Jonah Barry has ran 9:37, Jacob Carrel 9:47, Jeff Sereno 2:02, Wilson Hacker 4:36, Joe Haase, there 7 guy from the state meet team ran 16:37 last season and 17:32 at state. -Janesville Craig (9th at State)- 6 of top 7 return, Tommy Meister is top returning individual and is a strong choice to win it next year. Spencer Hrycay ran 16:48 at state last year but has ran 4:29 and 9:43 this season. The rest of the returnees have ran between 16:39 and 17:13. D2 -Dodgeville Mineral Point (State runner-ups)- Top 7 return, Trevor Wunnicke finished 2nd at state last year in 16:17, the next 4 guys ran between 17:12-17:50 at state. The pr's of the top 5 are between 16 flat and 17:04. -Shorewood (State Champs)- They lose 3 of the top 7 but they always seem to do well year after year no matter who or how many runners graduate. Top returnees are Peter Morris (17:17 at state, 16:37 pr), John Papke (17:24 at state, 17:16 pr), Jacob Golberg (17:43 at state, 17:37 pr), and Keith Dodd (18:08 at state, 17:28 pr) D3 -Darlington (5th at state)- 6 of top 7 return, including Freshman Tyson Miehe (8th at state, 16:48, 16:19 pr), Destin Komprood (17:20 at state), Michael Sinclair (18:08 at state, 17:29 pr), Quinn Cullen (18:11 at state, 17:26 pr), Garth Garrison (18:17, 17:56 pr), and Kent Miehe (something happened to him at state because he had been running mid17s most of the season, ran 17:26 at the Rapids Invite, but then ran 20 flat at state) -Kenosha St. Joseph (State Champs)- Lose 4 of top 7 but return Steve Nelson (17:28 at state, 17:00 pr, ran 10:14 in 3200 this season), Kevin Ryan was 2nd fastest freshman at state in 17:18, has a pr of 17:10 and has ran 4:38 and 10:20), Avery Scopp ran 18:29 at state and has a pr of 17:32 and ran 4:48. The only thing that i have to say is that if Darlington is going to lose their "choking" at state it is going to be this coming year with 4 seniors that have been to state the last three years and the other senior coming off his first year. They will be good through the season it is just if they can hold it together at the end of the year.

Marquette is legit. So is coach Kearney. No one thinks that they're going to be horrible next year... They will be solid, I believe, but we can't just make assumptions that they'll be better than everyone in this next season...
