Hmmm my cousins live like 2 miles away. This is very tempting.

They put up temporary lights for this. It's going to be cool.

Speaking of Detweiller, I have a question for anyone who might live in the area or who just might know who to contact to answer this question. I was down there this weekend, so I took the opportunity to run the course. Along the course, at many points, there were orange plastic fences (the kind you see at beer gardens at fests) blocking the path/course. They were randomly placed and really served no purpose. Some of the pine trees also had orange ribbon tied on them, but not all of them, and not all of the other trees. It was quite weird. I was thinking maybe the emerald ash borer got to some trees, but they all looked in good shape. Just was very curious as to what's going on there.

What's weird is that they were short sections of fence, sometimes blocking the whole path, sometimes just a very small section. You could easily get around them.

I ran down there a couple weeks ago and experienced the same thing. I figure that place gets beat up enough from soccer that they want to preserve the course as much as they can. Running along the highway was torture, weaving around those barricades.
