Everyone I have spoken to supporters and skeptics, seem to believe Ches is as old as he is reported to be, which is a bit old for his grade, but no different than LV was until he somehow graduated a year early?

My problem with all of this is I want to see american born kids doing this stuff. I love hearing about 16 year old kenyans running 12:53 in Africa, the key being in Africa, these guys aren't American. It ruins the American High School records. American distance running is at a high point right now with Rupp running well and many others at the professional level, as well as the absurd high school times we have seen by American high schoolers, Oshier 4:00.xx, rosas 8:40,s, elkaim 8:46, we are at a huge boom and true Americans are being overshadowed by non-american born athletes. At the same time its nice to see them pulling us through and they are great runs, I just want to see more American athlete press.

How is that racist when I am talking about LV too? And American kids are running fast for our history. I am not saying what these guys are doing isn't awesome its fast at the same time is Cheserek even that good for being a Kenyan? I have heard of kids over there running much faster. that's the point i'm making... i have no problem calling out people who are CLEARLY older than they claim to be, but ches is not one of those people... he looks of-age and isn't doing what some people were doing a few years ago (entering road races as a 20-something year old but claiming to be 17 or 18 still while they are in high school)
