They do if possible. It's top 2 individuals not on a qualifying team (if the majority of the top 5 is team qualifiers), or top 5 individuals if it is a mixture of teams. I believe they are extending the amount of qualifiers next season.

Interesting. I'm a fan of the top [arbitrary number] other than team qualifiers system, but i guess i see what they're doing.

Glarius' interview (especially the editor's note) gave me a good chuckle...

On a separate note, congrats to those who ran well today, definitely an exciting race to watch.

Hello Tracktalkers,

This is Dan Gordon of Stonehill College. I am a recent graduate of Plymouth North (Atlantic Coast League, EMass d4).

Recently, I entered a contest that many of you will be familiar with, called Stachies for Nashies, on www.flotrack.org

Basically the contest asks each participant to upload a picture of their mustache, and who ever gets the most "likes" wins.

Stonehill XC has recently qualified for our 9th national championship in a row, and I will be running next Saturday in Spokane, Washington.

I grew out a mustache for nationals, and i think i have a good shot of winning the contest. I need the support of the running community for this to happen. All the entries are going to be big d1 powerhouses. How cool would it be if Stonehill XC, a non fully funded program, could take down the likes of Oregon and Stanford?

I think it is possible. But not without your help. I am not doing it for me, I am doing it for my school. So lets make this happen!!

Thank for your support,

Daniel Joseph Gordon Jr.
