No meets yet for awhile but anyone have any word on where Seniors are headed next year?

What I know:
Cole Decker (Dowling)- Central College
Rilley Wattier (Waukee)- Central College
James Harrington (Cedar Falls)- University of Alabama
Barkley Hill (Cedar Falls)- Iowa State University (football)

Central College seems to know how to recruit, Eli Hortan, Drew Jackson, Jordan & Justin Burns last year, and now Cole Decker and Riley Wattier have committed before the years end. Things look good for Central.

Things look good? Yes Eli had a phenominal season, however Central didn't even qualify for Nationals this year. And will Cole Decker and Riley Wattier really affect the the team that much? I mean yeah 3rd place is good but he went in to the season ranked 1st. Also Riley had a very mediocre cross country season. I think that Central will be no better than par next year.

3rd place in, arguably, the strongest year ever in Iowa. In my opinion, Cole had a better senior XC season than Eli did his senior year. If that transfers over into his time at Central, that will help greatly help their team and recruiting for the future. I don't think anyone expects Central to win the National Championship next year, but I think its foolish to think they won't improve given the talent they have and the talent they are bringing in.

Never did I mention a Title, all I said was "things look good for Central" but I agree with cyclonerunner, they will improve next year, with Decker moving into their number 2 spot possibly. Drew Jackson (#2 runner for Central) had just started running in August after being injured, so who can tell his potential. Riley might have had a mediocre cross season, but he has gone 4:30 in the 1600, and I believe he has ran a sub 2:00 800.

Both the boys and girls will be going back to the old girls qualifying system. This will make many people happy.

Class 4A will qualify the top two place winners and the next 12 best performances from all state qualifying meet place winners. Class 3A and 2A will qualify the top two place winners and the next 8 best performances from all state qualifying meet place winners. Class 1A will qualify the first place winner and the next 12 best performances from all state qualifying meet place winners.

Where did you get your source? This would be my preferred qualification

I can't remember where I saw it, I think it was on the Girls Union website. I just looked through meeting minutes on the site, and found where the Advisory Committee proposed going to this system (vote was 7-2), but can't find where the Union approved it. Anybody else see it? I'm pretty sure I saw it on a website - I'll keep looking and post a link if I find it.
